A popular Fortnite leaker has given players their first look at the upcoming collaboration between the movie Tron: Ares and Epic Games’ battle royale, which includes a wide variety of cosmetics coming to the Item Shop. Fortnite is currently preparing to release its annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, and it’s rumored that gamers will be treated to several new crossovers during the month of October.
Tron: Ares is the third film in the popular science fiction franchise, which stars Jared Leto as the titular Ares. Fans can look forward to finally jumping back into the world of Tron when the film releases in theaters on October 10. The first film, Tron, was originally released in 1982. It was then followed by Tron: Legacy, which released over 25 years later in 2010. While the newest film isn’t out yet, fans of the franchise have plenty of theories about Tron: Ares, especially when it comes to its connection with Tron and Tron: Legacy.
Tron: Ares Is Coming to Fortnite
In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker Loolo_WRLD gave players their first look at the entire set of Tron: Ares cosmetics coming to Fortnite. From what was shared, it seems as if fans of the new film will be able to purchase a skin of Jared Leto’s character, Ares. The character can be seen wearing his signature black suit with glowing red accents. The crossover will also include a glider called Jump Jet and a wrap called Out of Tron, both of which adhere to the same color scheme as Ares himself. Ares’ Staff will also be available as a pickaxe alongside the Dillinger Disc, which acts as both a harvester and back bling. Players will even be able to pick up two emotes, the Portal Beam and the Lil’ Light Bike.

While the Tron: Ares cosmetics will be available separately in Fortnite‘s Item Shop, they will also be offered as a bundle. However, leakers have not been able to share how much the bundle or individual items will cost when they come to the Item Shop. Leakers have claimed that gamers will be able to acquire these cosmetics as soon as October 7, though no official announcement has been made by Epic Games.
Tron: Ares isn’t Fortnite‘s only crossover right now, as the battle royale currently features a major collaboration with Kpop Demon Hunters. In addition to releasing three skins and a wide variety of accessories, Epic Games debuted a new Demon Rush mode for players to enjoy. Gamers can even find special items connected to Kpop Demon Hunters in the title’s battle royale modes. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
