I’ve always loved a flight sim (or, more specifically, a good space sim), and while I’ve been lucky enough to test a few in my time writing about games, one has always stuck with me.

The Thrustmaster Viper TQS Mission Pack might not be the sexiest name around, but there’s something about its sheer array of switches and toggles (not to mention a throttle that puts many rivals to shame) that makes it feel like it’s been ripped right out of a fighter jet.
There’s a slap switch for firing off flares, adjustable friction on the throttle, and the backlighting is a nice touch, too.
The caveat here is that you will need a flight stick since this is additive, but if you’ve been in the market for on, then you can save over £200. In fact, CamelCamelCamel data suggests that this is just a few quid off its lowest ever.
